Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a serious single-vehicle collision in the City of Markham.
On Friday, November 25, 2016, shortly after 12:30 p.m., a single-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of Highway 48 and Elgin Mills Road. Investigators are releasing images of four vehicles whose drivers are possible witnesses. Investigators believe that the white Mercedes, the transport truck and a dark-coloured compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) were all travelling westbound on Elgin Mills Road shortly before the collision occurred.
The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
