Peterborough man charged with robbery with violence following incident at City bus terminal

A 49-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with robbery with violence following an incident at the Simcoe Street bus terminal.

On May 13, 2017 at approximately 8:15 p.m. police were dispatched to the Simcoe Street bus terminal for an assault and robbery. It was reported that while the 69-year-old male victim was in the washroom area he was approached by an unknown male who assaulted him and stole cash from his pocket.

The incident was reported to police and officers along with EMS attended. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Through the investigation, the male suspect was identified.

On May 17, 2017 at approximately 5:15 p.m. the suspect was located at a Rubidge Street address where he was placed under arrest.

Andrew Willis Bradley, 49, of Rubidge Street, is charged with robbery with violence and failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court May 18th.
