Peel Region – Investigators from the Special Victim’s Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault investigation.

The victim and the suspect first made contact with one another through an on-line dating app. On Friday, May 26, 2017, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the victim and the suspect met in person at an agreed upon location in Brampton. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect is described as male, medium complexion, 25-30 years old, approximately 5’8”, with a thin build, brown eyes, and short, dark-coloured hair. He has tattoos on the inside of both his left and right forearms.  He was last seen operating a dark grey sport utility vehicle with tinted windows.
