Sault Ste Marie woman charged after threatening to kill dog

On May 16th, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 49 -year old Melinda Marandola of Albert Street West in relation to mischief.

Just before 8:00 p.m. on May 16th, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with a person known to her.  During the argument, it is alleged that the accused broke a coffee table and threatened to kill the victim and the victim’s dog.

Police later attended and Ms. Marandola was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Uttering Threats and one count of Mischief Under $5,000.  She will appear in court on June 26th, 2017.
