(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) continues to investigate an incident that occurred in Leamington, Ontario on April 16, 2017.

Nathan MITCHELL, age 33 of Leamington, Ontario charged with attempted murder remains in custody pending his next court appearance on May 12, 2017.

The involved victim in this matter has since been released from the hospital.

The OPP wish to remind the public although this was a serious incident, there has been no further threat to public safety.

The investigation is continuing and the OPP ask that any person with information regarding this incident or the person(s) involved should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Accused Identified

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) has identified the accused arrested on April 16, 2017 in relation to an incident that occurred in Leamington, Ontario.

Nathan Horatio MITCHELL, age 32 of Leamington, Ontario appeared in a Windsor, Ontario court on April 17, 2017 and has been remanded in custody charged with the following offence:

  • Attempted Murder
