OPP investigate after bones found in Northern Bruce Peninsula


(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On June 27, 2017 at 11:39 a.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of found human remains in a bush area along Lakewood County Lane in Northern Bruce Peninsula.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment, the Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Ontario Forensic Pathology Services – Forensic Anthropology and the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario are conducting the investigation under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Scott Moore of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

The investigation is in its early stages.
