3 facing fraud charges after attempting to return stolen items to Walmart

Three suspects are facing multiple fraud charges after an employee at a retail store called police.

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at approximately 10:45 a.m., police were called to the Walmart on Laval Drive in Oshawa for a fraud call. The female suspect attempted to return merchandise at the Bowmanville Walmart and she was denied. Employees alerted police after she attempted to do the same at the Oshawa location. Police investigated the suspects and all three were arrested after numerous stolen items and fraudulent documents were located.

Major Crime Fraud Unit officers took over the investigation.

Christina AUBOURG, age 25, Hyann KENKUINING-TCHOUGA, age 21, Sekou KEITA, age 25 all from Montreal have been charged with: Attempt Fraud under $5,000; Possession of Credit Card Obtained by Crime x3; Possession of Identity Documents x3; Possession of Identity Info with Inference of Fraud and Possession of Stolen Mail x2. Christina AUBOURG faces an additional charge of Possession of Credit Card Obtained by Crime. All three suspects were held for a bail hearing.
