$47,000 worth of drugs seized in Waterloo drug bust

On July 11, 2017 members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Drugs and Firearms Branch arrested two females as a result of an investigation into the illegal sale of controlled substances in Waterloo.

As a result of the investigation, officers seized approximately 700 grams of methamphetamine, 235 grams of suspected fentanyl and 40 grams of crack cocaine. Officers also seized heroin, Percocet’s, hydromorphone, psilocybin, as well as cash. The drugs are estimated to be worth $47,000.

A 43-year-old Waterloo woman and a 59-year-old Kitchener woman have each been charged with six counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
