Between September, 2016 and July, 2017 the Waterloo Regional Police Cybercrime Branch Internet Child Exploitation Unit investigated complaints regarding a male in possession of child pornography at a Kitchener location.
On July 25, 2017, as a result of the investigation, Waterloo Regional Police Service executed a search warrant at a Kitchener residence and arrested a 52-year-old male for Possession of Child Pornography. Police seized computer equipment from the residence as a result of the search warrant.
