Four persons have been arrested and charged and cocaine, heroin and marijuana seized following a drug search warrant at a Peterborough home.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, on July 25, 2017 members of the Peterborough Police Service ICAD (Intelligence, Crime Analyst, Asset Forfeiture and Drugs) Unit along with the Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on George Street in Peterborough. As a result of the investigation, four persons were arrested at the residence.
Walid Zakaria, 24, of Toronto, Adam Henry, 22, of Ajax, Chard Patrick, 28, of Ajax and Doug Parisee, 51, of Peterborough were arrested and all four accused face the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Marijuana
- Proceeds of crime
The following items were seized during the investigation:
- 224 grams of cocaine (8oz)
- 8 grams of heroin
- A quantity of marijuana
- $2,740 Canadian currency
All four accused were held for bail court on July 26, 2017.
