Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify four males following a robbery that took place on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, just before 1:00 a.m., at the City Marina, located at 55 Lakeshore Drive, in the City of Barrie.

Police received to a 911 call just after 1:00 a.m., after a Security Guard had encountered the tail-end of the robbery, which resulted in one of the suspects pointing a firearm at him. Prior to police arriving the suspects and victims had fled the area, although video surveillance captured the incident.

Video Surveillance captured four suspects robbing two males on the boardwalk just east of the city marina office.  Two of the suspects had been armed with weapons, one suspect was armed with a handgun and second suspect was armed with a metal object or possibly an expandable baton.

Investigators believe the two victims may have been lured into the area by one of the suspects, and within minutes robbed of their personal items, including their shoes and baseball hats. To date the victims have not come forward and Investigators are urging the victims or any witnesses to contact police. It is believed the suspects fled in the area in a grey Toyota Echo with black bumper.

The suspects are described as;

Suspect # 1

• Male, white (16-18 yrs.)
• Short, medium build
• Short dark hair
• Carrying a black handgun
• Wearing a light colored bandana on his face, light colored baseball hat, t-shirt, pants and running shoes.

Suspect # 2

• Male, white (16-18 yrs.)
• Tall, slim build
• Short dark hair
• Wearing a light colored baseball hat, t-shirt, dark pants/jogging pants and running shoes.

Suspect # 3

• Male, white (16-18 yrs.)
• Tall, medium build
• Carrying metal object or possibly expandable baton
• Wearing a disguise over his face, a light colored hoodie, jeans and running shoes.

Suspect # 4

• Male, white (16-18 yrs.)
• Tall, heavy build
• Wearing a baseball hat, grey hoodie, jeans and running shoes.
