High-risk takedown by London Police nets cocaine with two men charged

On Friday, July 21, 2017 at approximately 2:00 pm, members of the London Police Service conducted a high-risk vehicle stop in the area of Adelaide St. N and Huron St and arrested a male wanted on an outstanding warrant. Two adult males and a young person were taken into custody and a quantity of cocaine and ammunition was seized. A Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a residence where a loaded firearm was recovered.

As a result of this investigation Vasilios Wray, 19 of London has been charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of Judicial Release.

Arek Pritchard, 19 of London has been charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

One young person who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act has been charged with one count each of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule II Substance, Store Firearm Carelessly, Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm knowing no Authority, Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited, Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited, Fail to Comply with Youth Criminal Justice Act Sentence and Fail to Comply with Condition of Judicial Release.
