(GRAND BEND, ON) – On July 30, 2017 at 2:20 p.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a concerned motorist in relation to beer bottles being tossed from a Honda Civic driving northbound on Lakeshore Road heading toward Grand Bend.

A short time later the OPP located the Honda Civic on Ontario Street in Grand Bend. Additional investigation resulted in the driver producing a breath sample of that twice the legal limit and quantities of liquor being seized from the vehicle. As a result, Adrian PAJAK (male), 22 years-of-age of Kitchener Ontario was charged with allegedly operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, drive motor vehicle with open liquor and novice driver producing a breath sample in excess of zero.

The driver is to appear at the Sarnia Court House on August 28, 2017, to answer to the charges.

The OPP is always extremely grateful when members of our community are willing to “step up” and offer assistance in removing impaired drivers from our roadways. Thank you!
