Road rage incident leads to stabbing in Oshawa

A 31-year-old Oshawa man is facing charges after a 22-year-old male was stabbed during a road rage incident yesterday in Oshawa.

On Monday, July 17, 2017, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the suspect male was driving his truck erratically along Simcoe Street. He stopped on Masson Street just north of Rossland Road and following an altercation with a second vehicle, he exited his truck and stabbed the male passenger in the arm. The suspect got back in his truck and drove off. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Officers were able to obtain an address and located the accused a short time later driving into an apartment building parking lot. He was arrested and officers located a knife.

Owen FRASER, age 31, of Adelaide Avenue in Oshawa is charged with: Assault with a Weapon and Weapons Dangerous. He was released on a promise to appear.
