Three suspects commit armed robbery at employment agency

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying three suspects following an armed robbery in the City of Vaughan. 

On Friday, July 21, 2017, at approximately 10 a.m., police were called to an employment agency in the area of Islington Avenue and Steeles Avenue, following a report of an armed robbery. Three male suspects entered the building wearing masks and carrying a gun and demanded cash from the employees. The suspects obtained a quantity of cash and then pepper sprayed the employees before fleeing in a dark colored vehicle.

The victims suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Suspect 1:

• Male
• Late teens to early 20s
• 5’7 to 5’8 with a thin build
• Wearing a black mask,  black pants, a black hoodie and white latex gloves
• Armed with a black handgun

Suspect 2:

• Male
• Medium build
• Wearing all black clothing and white latex gloves

Suspect 3:

• Male
• Medium build
• Wearing all black clothing and white latex gloves
