Two arrests made in Mississauga double stabbing

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a male and female for a double stabbing that occurred early this morning in the City of Mississauga.

On Friday, July 28, 2017 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Toronto Police Service contacted Peel Regional Police advising that two stabbing victims were at a local hospital in the City of Toronto. Police were advised that the incident had occurred in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police located the incident scene in a parking lot located at 7555 Goreway Drive, Mississauga. The victims, a 30 year-old male from Mississauga and a 27 year-old female from Oshawa, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both victims will be released from hospital later today.

Natasha WILLIAMS, a 33 year-old female from Mississauga, and Egeton Anthony RICHARD, a 30 year-old male from Mississauga, were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. They were both held for bail hearings scheduled this afternoon at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

The victims and accused parties are all known to each other.
