$125,000 worth of drugs seized as a result of multiple Niagara Falls search warrants

In June of 2017 members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Special Investigative Services-Morality Unit commenced a drug investigation targeting a Niagara Falls male and his drug trafficking group. 

On August 03, 2017 the Morality Unit with the assistance of Guns, Gangs and Grows Unit and the Intelligence Unit executed four Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants.  The warrants were executed at three Niagara Falls dwelling houses and one motor vehicle.

As a result of the search police seized the following items:

352 grams of cocaine
8 kg of processed marihuana
591 grams of shatter (cannabis resin)
43 Percocet pills

Items related to the trafficking of controlled substances such as scales, packaging, cutting agents and cellular devices.

The value of drugs seized is about $125,000

Approximately $50,000 in currency, that was seized as proceeds of crime.

As a result of the investigation the following persons have been charged and were held for a bail hearing to take place at the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Catharines on August 04, 2017 to answer to these allegations.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
