Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a serious collision in the Town of Richmond Hill.
On Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 11:20 a.m., York Regional Police responded to the area of Bathurst Street and Humberland Drive, for a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian, a 15-year-old girl from the Town of Richmond Hill, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 53-year-old woman from the Town of Bradford, remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision are being asked to please come forward.
