On Monday August 7, 2017 at around 1:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers attended a parking lot on King George Road regarding a stabbing.
Investigation revealed that a father and son became involved in a heated verbal argument on the lot on King George Road. The argument became physical where the son (15 years of age) pulled out a knife and stabbed the father several times in the arm and torso area. The father received non-life threatening injuries and was treated at hospital and released.
The accused a 15 year old Brantford youth was arrested and charged with the following offences; Assault with a Weapon, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
