Catholic high school teacher had relationships with two students, Now facing sexual assault charges


Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a 44 year-old male in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

In August, 2017, investigators received information that a teacher from St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga had engaged two teen aged students in an inappropriate relationship.  The incidents occurred between the time frame of January, 2016 and May, 2017.

As a result of the investigation, Gavin Mc ANALLY, a 44 year old male from the City of Brampton was arrested and charged with Sexual Interference, Invitation to Sexual Touching, Sexual Exploitation, and Sexual Assault.  Mc ANALLY was held for a bail hearing to appear at the A. Grenville & William Davis Ontario Court of Justice on August 9th, 2017.

MC ANALLY has been a teacher for the Catholic District School Board for approximately 15 years.

Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and ask any potential victims or witnesses to contact police.

The investigation is on-going by members of the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit.
