Drunk driver from Mississauga passes out in the middle of the street

On Sunday, August 20, 2017 shortly before 6:00 a.m. a concerned citizen called 911 to report a vehicle parked in the middle of the road on Edmondson Street.

A male was in the driver’s seat possibly sleeping. Community Patrol Officers attended and observed the vehicle parked with the keys in the ignition. The driver was awoken by officers. The male driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for Impaired Driving- Care and Control. The accused was taken to the Brantford Police Service where he provided samples of his breath. The accused readings were 2 times over the legal limit.  The accused, a 30 year old Mississauga man is charged with;

Impaired Driving-Care and Control and Over 80-Care and Control. The accused was eventually released from custody on a Promise to Appear. Further the accused licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
