Guelph pharmacy employee arrested for stealing Oxycodone pills

Management at a Guelph area pharmacy grew suspicious when routine monitoring of certain pharmaceutical drugs revealed discrepancies in their inventory.

A number of additional security measures were put in place that identified an employee who had been responsible. It is alleged that the employee was specifically acquiring Oxycodone pills.

On August 19th, Jordanah Mackie, 28 years of age from Guelph was arrested and charged with fraud under $5000, uttering a forged documents and possession of a controlled substance. She was later released to appear in court on October 6, 2017.
