Man threatens to shoot and stab mother after stealing money from her, kicks at windows of police cruiser

On Tuesday, August 8, 2017 shortly after 3:30 p.m. police attended a Brantford home regarding a domestic between a 21 year old and his mother.

Investigation revealed that the son (accused had stolen money from and threatened to both shoot and stab his mother. The son had left the family home prior to police arriving. Officers located the accused a short distance away and he was arrested for Uttering Threats. The accused also threatened three officers who were in attendance stating he would get his gun and shoot them dead. The accused was transported to the police station where he continued to be belligerent with officers, uttering threats and kicking at the windows of the police cruiser.

Crack cocaine was also found on the accused person. The accused was processed and when being escorted to the cells he spat on officers.   

 A 21 year old Brantford man is charged with the following offences; Uttering Death Threats X 11, Theft under $5,000.00, Mischief under $5,000.00 X2, Possession of a Controlled Drug – crack cocaine, Assault Police X3 and Breach of Probation. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
