(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant Detachment investigated an incident at an Oakland Road, Brant County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, August 5, 2017 at approximately 4:12 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned member of the public reporting a theft.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that unknowns attended the Royal Bank and forcibly gained entry into the vestibule area where the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) was located. Unknowns then forcibly removed the ATM from the wall using a truck which caused extensive damage.
A pickup truck was observed leaving the area at a high rate of speed and was last seen heading eastbound on Oakland Road.
The County of Brant OPP are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information that can assist in identifying the suspects or vehicle involved in this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
