(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 34-year-old female from North Huron following the recovery of a stolen All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) last week in Brussels.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m. on August 3, 2017, Huron OPP officers received information that two possible stolen ATVs had just parked in the alley way behind Turnberry Street. Officers were in the area and responded to the scene within a few minutes. Upon arrival, both of the drivers were no longer with the machines however upon inspecting the machines police were able to confirm one of the machines was in fact stolen. The ATV in question, a 2006 Arctic Cat was reported stolen from an address in Clinton in April of 2013.

While officers were inspecting the machine the female driver of the stolen ATV was spotted walking nearby. Police made contact with the female and ultimately arrested her.
