Oakville man arrested for theft twice in two days


On August 22, 2017, the Halton Regional Police arrested Neil MacMILLAN (33 years) of Oakville for having stolen two bottles of Grey Goose vodka from the LCBO located at 321 Cornwall Road, in the Town of Oakville.  MacMILLAN was taken to the Oakville police station where he was charged and released for Theft Under $5,000 and Breach of Probation.

On August 23, 2017, MacMILLAN was re-arrested by the Halton Regional Police after having committed several thefts from automobiles in the area of Sixth Line and Germorda Drive, Oakville.  These thefts are alleged to have occurred a short time after being released from police custody on August 22, 2017.

MacMILLAN has since been held in custody pending a bail hearing.  He is currently accused with:

• Theft Under $5,000 (4 Counts)
• Breach of Probation (8 Counts)
