Police investigating fatal collision after motorcyclist collides with building


Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in the City of Vaughan.   

On Sunday, August 6, 2017, just after 3 a.m., police responded to a single vehicle collision in a parking lot in the area of Highway 7 and Weston Road. When officers arrived on scene they located a motorcyclist who had collided with the side of a building.   

The driver of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man from Toronto, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
