On August 14th, 2017, detectives from the Halton Police One District Criminal Investigations Bureau Robbery Unit arrested a fourth and final suspect for his role in last week’s violent series of street robberies.

The brazen acts occurred on Thursday August 10th, 2017 at 4:30pm in the Town of Milton.  That’s when a group of four males began stealing items such as cell phones, money, watches and backpacks from unsuspecting pedestrians.

Three males (1 adult and 2 young offenders) were arrested shortly after the initial police response. The suspect vehicle was also recovered.  Detectives executed a criminal code search warrant on the vehicle and recovered an UZI Submachine Pellet Gun (*not used in the commission of these offences) and several pieces of stolen property.

At 2:00pm on Monday August 14th, 2017 the remaining suspect was taken into custody without incident. He was subsequently held for bail.

Charged with eight counts of robbery is:

Tahjae HARE (18 years) of Mississauga Ontario

There is no further risk to the public in relation to these brazen acts as all suspects involved have been captured.
