Surveillance images of woman who attempted to fill forged prescriptions


Police are trying to identify a female suspect who has committed multiple prescription drug frauds in Durham Region and Toronto.

On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, officers were called by a pharmacy in Oshawa that suspected a female customer was attempting to fill a forged prescription for narcotics. She provided a prescription and Health Card, requesting to fill the prescription for a friend. The pharmacy called police but the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators linked the female to several other similar incidents. It is believed that the suspect may have lived in Ottawa but may also be in the Toronto area.

The suspect is described as female, black, with long hair and wearing black baseball hat and black jacket.
