Two caught on video refunding stolen items at Loblaws

The Barrie Police are seeking the publics assistance to identify a male and female following a fraudulent transaction that took place on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Loblaw’s, located at 472 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie. 

It is believe the suspects selected a PC coffee press from within the store, and then successfully misled the customer service employee into a bogus refund/exchange. The suspects then exchanged the coffee press for several cases of beer and cigarettes.

The incident was later caught on video surveillance and the investigation is ongoing. 

The suspects are described as; 

Suspect # 1 

• Female, white
• Medium build, 5’4
• Blond hair with pink highlights
•  Wearing a grey tank top, black pants and carrying a black purse

Suspect # 2

• Male, white
• Slim build, 6’2
•  Black/gray hair, full beard
•  Wearing a black T-shirt and hoodie and jeans
