On July 22nd, 2017 at approximately 3:40 am, two male suspects broke into the secure compound at PJ’s Automotive, located at 710 Cannon St E, and stole a moped. The stolen moped was recovered on August 8th, 2017, after being involved in a traffic fatality.
On July 23rd, 2017, the same two male suspects attended EMMO Hamilton, located at 819 King St E, Hamilton. The suspects forced the door open at 6:18 am and entered the business, where they subsequently stole two e-bikes.
On August 7th, 2017, the same two male suspects broke into the Electric Avenue E-bike shop at 5:50 am. The business is located at 1471 Main St E, Hamilton. The suspects entered through the front door and stole two e-bikes. The e-bikes were later recovered in an alleyway.
Members of the BEAR Unit investigated and identified the two male suspects to be Charles SHOTWELL and Daniel LETCHFORD.

Charged: Break and Enter Commit x 3
Accused: Daniel LETCHFORD 31yr-old from Brantford
Charged: Break and Enter Commit x 3 , Failing to comply with Probation x 3 and Possession of Burglary Tools
