Wanted woman arrested, found with several stolen items and illegal substances

On Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 8:55 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of a suspicious person in the area of Simeon Street and Brubacher Street in Kitchener. Police arrived on scene and located a woman who was wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants.

Officers found illegal substances and several items believed to have been stolen, including a bicycle that had been reported stolen from Vancouver, British Columbia. Also located was a Canon Rebel camera with accessories. Police would like to hear from anyone in the community who may be missing a camera similar to the one located.

A 48-year-old Kitchener woman has been charged with Breach of Probation, two counts of possession of a Controlled Substance, four counts of Possession of Identity Documents, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 and Possession of Credit Cards not Lawfully Issued.
