Three people have been injured after shots were fired at a nightclub in the City of Thorold.

At approximately 4:45am on Sunday September 3rd, 2017, Niagara Regional Police officers were called to L8 nightclub on Highway 20 with reports of gunshots in the area. 

When officers arrived, investigation revealed shots had been fired from a vehicle leaving the area of club with three victims injured. They were all treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Police are actively searching for 2 suspects who fled in a dark coloured sedan.

Highway 20 is closed between Highway 58 and Thorold Townline Road while officers continue this investigation.
