On Thursday, September 14, 2017 Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence in Kitchener.

Officers responded and were able to locate the suspect vehicle leaving the area. The vehicle was stopped and, as a result, four people were arrested – a 20-year-old Dartmouth, N.S., female, a 32-year-old Toronto man, a 31-year-old Cambridge man and a 22-year-old Cambridge man. They have been charged with several offences including robbery, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Drugs were seized as a result of the arrests, including 35 pounds of marihuana and 200 oxycodone pills.

The street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $87,000. An imitation firearm and some stolen property were also seized.
