Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
An area of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue affect the regions west of Lake Superior tonight and north of Superior overnight. The rain may fall heavily at times and is expected to persist for much of the night before slowly diminishing Saturday. Total 50 mm of rain within 24 hours is expected. However, areas that receive several thunderstorms may see higher amounts.
Additional rainfall is likely Saturday evening.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
