Image of man wanted in Impersonating Peace Officer investigation

On Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 6:15 p.m., police received a call for a Property Damage Collision in the Bloor Street West and Christie Street area.

It is reported that:

• a man dressed in a police officer’s uniform was directing traffic while dancing at the intersection of Bloor Street West and Christie Street
• investigation has revealed that a collision which occurred between two vehicles was as a result of the man’s attempt at directing traffic

The man is described as approximately 6’, thin build, wearing police hat, police vest with “POLICE” written on the front and back, a gun belt, dark-coloured short-sleeved police uniform shirt, dark-coloured shorts, white socks, black dress shoes.
