On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Waterloo Regional Police officers were conducting speed enforcement in front of New Dundee Public School on Bridge Street in Wilmot Township.

At approximately 8:42 a.m., a Honda motorcycle, traveling east on Bridge Street was clocked traveling 102 km/h in a 50km/h school zone. The driver of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old Wilmot Township man, was charged with Speeding, Stunt Driving and Careless Driving.

He had his licence suspended for seven days and his motorcycle impounded for seven days.
