(LAKESHORE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified the driver of the motorcycle killed in a collision yesterday on Morris Road in Lakeshore, Ontario.

Todd HILLMAN, age 52 of Tilbury, Ontario died when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Ford Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) shortly after noon on Thursday.

Morris road was closed for several hours as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) completed the investigation.

Charges are not anticipated.


(LAKESHORE, ON) –  On September 7, 2017, at approximately 12:00 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Morris Road between Richardson Sideroad and Lee Avenue in Lakeshore, Ontario.

A blue Honda motorcycle travelling westbound on Morris Road was struck by a white Ford Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) travelling eastbound.

The lone occupant male driver of the SUV was not injured. The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries but has since died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.

Morris Road will remain closed between the above-noted intersections for several hours as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) complete the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
