A fire last Friday evening at a residence in Oshawa has been deemed suspicious.
On Friday, September 8, 2017, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Oshawa Fire Services and police were dispatched to a fire at a residence on Fairbanks Street in Oshawa. The premise sustained extensive damage. Neighbouring residences were evacuated but no one was physically hurt as a result of the fire.
The Ontario Fire Marshall was called in and determined the fire to be suspicious in nature.
