Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after pellets were fired at a transit bus in the City of Vaughan.
On Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 11 p.m., York Regional Police responded to a report of a transit bus being damaged by pellets in the area of Keele Street and Jardin Drive. The transit bus had one window on the driver’s side shattered. Investigators believe that the bus was travelling north on Keele Street when one of the windows was shot at and shattered. Officers later located pellets on Keele Street. At the time of the shooting there were 15 people on the bus, but nobody was injured.
Investigators are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who have not yet spoken to police, or anyone that may have been driving in the area at the time with a dashcam, to please come forward.
