Security camera image of man wanted in Sexual Assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation into an incident at St. George subway station.

It is reported that:

  • on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at approximately 11:50 a.m., a woman was walking up the stairs from the east/westbound train level to the north/southbound train level
  • a man walked up behind the woman and sexually assaulted her
  • when the woman verbally challenged the man about his actions, he responded with profanities and continued up the stairs
  • he fled in an unknown direction

The man is described as 5’6″-5’9″, tanned complexion, late 20s-30s, average build, facial hair. He was wearing a light-blue T-shirt, (with, it is believed, the words “Cali 73” on front), faded blue jeans, dark shoes with white soles, carrying a pink bag.

Security camera images of the man are released.
