On September 23rd, 2017 at approximately 1am,  members of the Guelph Police Service responded to a report of three males that forced their way into a residence on Suffolk Street in Guelph. The lone resident sustained minor injuries as a result of this incident but did not require medical assistance.

It is alleged that there were five firearms that were taken from the residence by the suspects during the incident.

Investigation identified a male suspect who was initially arrested and then released unconditionally when it was verified he was not involved.

Police will release further details when appropriate and are looking to identify other males involved in this investigation.
