Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance in identifying two suspects after a carjacking that took place in the City of Vaughan.

On Friday, September 15, 2017, shortly before 10 p.m., York Regional Police responded to a parking lot in the area of Keele Street and Steeles Avenue for a report of a carjacking. When officers arrived they located the victim, a 51-year-old woman, who advised she was approached by two male suspects as she was getting into her vehicle. The suspects forced open the door to the vehicle and told her to get out, then demanded the keys, cash and her cell phone. The victim complied and was able to call police.

Investigators are appealing to anyone that may know the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle or who has any information about this incident to please come forward.

• 20s
• 5’9”
• Round face
• Short black hair and a goatee
• Wearing tan-colored pants and a black jacket with white sleeves

Suspect #2:

• Male, black
• 20s
• 5’8”
• Round face
• Wearing a hood

• 2007 Toyota Camry
• Grey
• Four-door
• Ontario licence plate: CBBE724
