UPDATE 1

Detectives with St. Catharines 1-District and Niagara Falls 2-District Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) have identified two additional victims following an overnight shooting at a Thorold nightclub.

Both victims are being treated in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Several vehicles in the parking lot were also damaged during the incident.

4 males and 1 female were shot in the incident which occurred at approximately 4:45 am on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at L8 nightclub in the City of Thorold. All 5 victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police are actively searching for 2 suspects who fled in a dark coloured sedan.

Highway 20 remains closed between Highway 58 and Thorold Townline Road while officers continue this investigation.

Three people have been injured after shots were fired at a nightclub in the City of Thorold.

At approximately 4:45 am on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, Niagara Regional Police officers were called to L8 nightclub on Highway 20 with reports of gunshots in the area.

When officers arrived, the investigation revealed shots had been fired from a vehicle leaving the area of the club with three victims injured. They were all treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are actively searching for 2 suspects who fled in a dark coloured sedan.

Highway 20 is closed between Highway 58 and Thorold Townline Road while officers continue this investigation.
