Four people including a woman from Oakville have been charged after Kawartha Lakes Police completed an investigation into a break and enter to a Fieldside Road home.
On Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 the home was entered between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm with the suspects removing property of the homeowner. The homeowner provided information to police that early in the day they had responded to a knock at their front door during which a male and female asked for directions. During that interaction, the homeowner also made a note of the make and model of vehicle that was being driven by the couple. The homeowner had to leave the residence later in the morning and discovered the break and enter when they returned. The suspects made off with a quantity of cash, silverware, a small quantity of jewellery and two antique toys.
Kawartha Lakes Police have arrested and charged 36-year-old Jonathan Edwards of Lindsay, 40-year-old Daniel Jamieson of Woodville, and 21-year-old Dillon Perdue of Lindsay. A warrant has been issued for the fourth person, 26-year-old Cherri LeClaire of Oakville. Edwards, Jamieson and Perdue have all been charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property. They will appear in the Lindsay, Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, October 26th, 2017.
