Hamilton Police officers while conducting routine patrol, continue to work towards a safer community by initiating three traffic stops throughout the city. A 34 year old Hamilton woman, an 18 year old Hamilton woman and a 34 year old Hamilton man have all been criminally charged as a result of these traffic stops.
TRAFFIC STOP #1
On Tuesday, October 31, 2017 shortly after 1:30am police initiated a traffic stop on a white Ford pick-up truck that was travelling at a high rate of speed in the area of King Street East and Catherine Street North. The arrest of the female driver has resulted in the execution of three criminal arrest warrants and the laying of several criminal charges.
Her bail has been opposed and she will be brought before the courts later today.

TRAFFIC STOP #2
On Monday, October 30, 2017, shortly after 9:30pm, police investigated a parked vehicle in the area of Gray Road and Highway 8. During the investigation police seized over 30 grams of marijuana which was located inside the vehicle. An 18 year old female has been released with a future court date.

TRAFFIC STOP #3
On Monday, October 30, 2017, shortly after 7:30pm, police investigated a white Kia sedan in the area of Hunter Street West and Poulette Street. The passenger of the automobile has been arrested for several drug related offences. His bail has been opposed and he will be brought before the courts later today.
