A Lindsay man was arrested and charged yesterday after it was discovered that a lost credit card had been used to make a number of purchases in Lindsay.

On Monday, October, 16th, 2017 the victim attended at Kawartha Lakes Police to report that on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 they had inadvertently lost one their credit cards. Since that time the “tap” feature of the card had been used to make a number of purchases around Lindsay. One of the purchases made was to a home delivery service, which led police to identify the suspect.

41-year-old Jean-Marc Caissie was arrested and charged with six counts of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, Unlawful Possession of a Credit Card and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order. He will appear in the Lindsay, Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017.
