A 46-year-old man along with a female were taken into custody at gunpoint by plain clothed officers following a traffic stop.

The female was later released unconditionally.

The 28-year-old male from southern Ontario appears to have been the victim of a drug-related, targeted abduction.

This male has been safely located by the Thunder Bay Police.

The investigation is ongoing.
