Hamilton Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Goran Kakamad, 21. Kakamad is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are urged not to approach Kakamad but should call 911 immediately.

On Friday, October 6th, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., several individuals were involved in an incident at a residence on Mohawk Road East between Upper Wellington and Upper Wentworth. The resident of the home fled and went for help. During this incident several rounds from a firearm were discharged into the residence.

A 2014 brown Infinity Q50 bearing Ontario License plates BZNW 939 was observed fleeing from the scene.

On Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at approximately 9:45 p.m., the vehicle was spotted by police. When Hamilton Police Service officers attempted to stop the car, the driver sped away and narrowly missed hitting other vehicles. The driver was identified as Kakamad.

A warrant has been issued for Kakamad’s arrest. He is wanted for Dangerous Driving, Fail to Stop for Police, Drive Disqualified, and Breach of Probation. He is described as 171 cm (5’7 ½”), 69 kg (152 lbs.), medium build, with short straight black hair.
