(ESTAIRE, ON) – Members from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), Detective Inspector Jim Gorry, are continuing the investigation that started on October 7, 2013, into the murder of Sheri-Lynn McEWAN, 40 years of age, from Estaire, Ontario.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Helicopter have conducted an extensive evidence search of the crime scene and area. Working alongside detectives from across North East Region are OPP specialists with Behavioural, Forensic and Electronic Services (BFES).
